Why choose a Mistore website?

Unlike many online solutions, we have developed this software ourselves and we do not re-sell or outsource any functionality. You can add or edit pages, products and features simply, without the burden of a web designers’ premium. Our websites are written for maximum web optimisation, and you don’t need any website experience to be able to use them.

What are the time scales before my website can 'go live'?

You will receive a development domain within 24 hours of paying your Mistore set-up fee. This allows you to populate your website with products, content, testimonials etc.

Whilst you are populating your website, our design team will work on your website design which will be completed within 10 days from when you provide your design specification. Once completed, you will be emailed a proof, and once agreed, it will take a further seven days for the design to be implemented into your website.

You will need to purchase a domain, or if you have an existing domain you wish to use, have the login details handy so we can change some settings to ensure the hosting is configured correctly.

What if I change my mind?

You can change your mind any time; just write to us or send us an email and your website will be de-activated at the end of that month.

Can I cancel my contract at any time?

Yes, if you cancel with us; just write to us or send us an email and your website will be de-activated at the end of that month.

Will I get a refund if I change my mind?

Once you have agreed to have a website you will be charged the set-up fee, if the set-up and design have not yet commenced at the point that you change your mind, then a full refund will be given.

After the set-up and design has been completed you will pay monthly, in advance, so when you email and cancel, you simply stop making payments and your website will be de-activated at the end of that month.

Will mistore work with my current website?

No, Mistore is a complete web solution.

Can I keep my current web address?

Yes, your web address or domain name requires a simple change to transfer the hosting to our servers.

Do I need to pay for hosting?

No, it is included in the monthly charge.

Do I need to pay for ‘backing up’ my website?

The Silver and Gold support packages include daily backups as part of the monthly fee.

Will I experience any ‘downtime’?

Our websites are hosted on dedicated, highly reliable servers that are managed and maintained 24 hours, seven days a week. The chances of this happening are extremely unlikely.

Will I own the website outright?

No, the source code will always belong to us. But the domain names will remain your property.

What if I ever want to use another company to supply me with a website?

If you choose to use another website supplier, just let us know when you want to move, and then change your domain settings to point to your new hosting company.

Do I need a merchant bank account to accept credit card payments?

No, you can use a payment processor such as PayPal.

Do I get email addresses with the website?

Yes, the number of email addresses is determined by your chosen support package and you can add new accounts at any time for a small monthy fee. Emails can be accessed through ‘webmail’ or an email client like ‘MS Outlook’.

Is there free help and support?

All support packages include online and email support. Telephone support is included in our Silver and Gold support packages.

Is there anything that I cannot sell or publish on my website?

Yes, we will not allow you to publish or sell offensive and illegal material on the Mistore servers.

How does the princing work?

You will pay a one off set-up fee dependent on the package you choose, then subsequent monthly payments as agreed at the point of sale. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time.

We have additional services available that do command and additional cost however none of these services are needed to operate our web solutions. All prices stated on this website exclude VAT.

Will my website rank well in the search engines?

It is impossible for any company to guarantee that any website will rank well in a search engine. However, Mistore websites are written in line with most search engine codes of ethics, and can be read easily by the search engines. Many of our current clients have seen their websites rise substantially once transferred to the Mistore system.

Can I track the traffic through my website?

Yes, Mistore is fully integrated with Google Analytics, which is a free service supplied by Google. You will need to register your website with Google Analytics; again, this is free.

Is there a limit to how much bandwidth I can use?

Yes. Although we offer ‘unlimited bandwidth’, we have a fair-use policy which ensures that every website on our servers can run at an optimum speed. If your website uses so much bandwidth that it has the potential to affect other websites on the server, then we would contact you to rectify the situation.

Is there a limit to the number of pages and products I can have?

No, we offer ‘unlimited pages and products'. But we do have a fair-use policy which ensures that every website on our servers can run at an optimum speed. If your particular site uses so much server space that it has the potential to affect other websites, then we would contact you to rectify the situation. In the main, this level of use is never exceeded.

What happens if I exceed your fair use policy?

In the unlikely event of you exceeding our fair use policy we would contact you. We would renegotiate your monthly charges and if in the unlikely event that you didn’t accept the revised charges then you would be given a reasonable notice period of cancellation.
